I took this from mayuki_miyazawa. It's one of those long question sheets but it's much easier to answer since all you have to do is "check" the answers.

You just have to put X's. )

Halloween [06 Nov 2005|04:26am]
I waited one week before posting my Halloween pictures here because every blog or online photo service was probably flooded with Halloween related posts last week. In complexity, my costume is nothing near the one made by [info]maruk.

Here's my 10 minutes costume (surprisingly, one of my friends, Dave, knew what the costume was about).

Skinny and Cute
Raw score: 25% Big Breasts, 31% Big Ass, and 68% Cute!

Thanks for taking the T and A and C test! Based on your selections, the results are clear: you show an attraction to smaller breasts, smaller asses, and cuter composure than others who've taken the test.

Note that you scored low on both breast and ass size.
This means you appreciate thinner, harder bodies. You are most likely
to appreciate a super-model. Relatively, you are less attracted to
round, soft, sloppy women.

My third variable, "cuteness" is a mostly objective
measure of how innocent a given model looked. It's determined by a
combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial
expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are
either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low,
you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your higher than average score suggests you appreciate a cuter, more innocent look. Kudos!

Recommended Celebrities: Jessica Alba, an absolute goddess, and Natalie Portman, if you can handle her acting.

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
free online datingfree online dating
You scored higher than 6% on tit-size
free online datingfree online dating
You scored higher than 15% on ass-size
free online datingfree online dating
You scored higher than 67% on cuteness
Link: The Tits, Ass, and Cuteness Test written by chicken_pot_pie on Ok Cupid, home of the 32-Type Dating Test

So Jessica Alba is my type huh? I really didn't need a test to know that. :)
Since she's about my age, I've started noticing her very early which is still strange because teenage boys usually dream about older women with big breasts. I was no exception but Jessica Alba (and Aaliyah) was my exception.

Change [17 Oct 2005|09:17pm]
[ music | NANA starring Mika Nakashima - Glamorous Sky ]

If you're looking for my blog over at SushiCorp, the new address is http://sushicorp.com/stick/blog/. What else? Mmm... Here are the latest pictures I took this weekend. It's my girlfriend in front of a giant "pineapple" and me in front of a big pumpkin. There's also the egg (don't worry, I didn't keep it that long without emptying it) and the lolipop (yes, it's real but who would eat that?) I use as avatars here on LJ. Among my pictures of bigger than life objects, I could put pictures of Montreal landmarks such as the Big Orange and the guaranteed milk bottle but I'm too lazy to scan them.

Made in... With China [14 Sep 2005|10:15pm]
[ mood | irritated ]

So China wants to be a world player. It wants to have a place among "civilized" nations. It went to a great deal of efforts to get the 2008 Olympics. But to really be taken seriously, they'll have to stop cutting tiger penises and harvest from executed prisoners. Or they can just use their huge number as incentive for just about anything.

[ music | The annoying sound of the advertised "30 db" from my CPU fan ]

I might sound retarded to all the jaded people out there but simple things in life such as the new Canadian 20$ bill amaze me. What amazes me most is the stark difference with the old bill. The only "big" security feature on the old one was a scratchable golden green square. There were small green dots and changing colors too but those features were time consumming to verify in a commercial environment. The design and general layout of the new version integrating extra security features also feels more polished and modern. Unfortunately, I can't show you the new new and old bills side by side without fearing that I might infringe on... COPYWRIGHT LAWS!

But.... There are official pages showing the new and old $20.

Now I'll just put on some old Japanese dance music to cover up the sound of that fan. Oooh... sound of a car whizzing by. Absolutely 90's-ish.

Although I've described the Montreal High Lights Festival as mostly aimed to babyboomers with money to spare, La Nuit Blanche a Montreal is part of their program and one great night to discover museums and all kinds of cultural attractions in Montreal. The doors to different places in town are open for free or a small fee, all night long. Visiting an art museum at 2 in the morning gives you a different perspective.

Moving on to another century and other kind of media, two of my friends from ThisIsNotDesign will be at the CineRobotheque from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM. Another one, not part of ThisIsNotDesign, will probably be at the SAT (Societe des Arts Technologiques) but I'm not 100% sure. But if the schedule includes his name, then he'll probably be.

Check the schedule if you're more interested into other things or see which events cost what.

Montreal en lumiere [23 Feb 2005|05:48pm]
[ mood | indifferent ]
[ music | None ]

There's a festival in Montreal right now. Don't take a flight over though. The Montreal en Lumiere festival is mostly aimed at rich babyboomers. There's an open public part on Place des Arts in order to qualify government grants of course, but it feels just like that, an excuse for public funding. That said, it's a good occasion to step outside for people who are very very affraid to venture into the cold as there's always a door or some place to warm yourself up every 50 feet.

Happy (very late) New Year!!! [27 Jan 2005|03:24am]
[ mood | depressed ]
[ music | Sowelu - Do You Remember That? ]

It's been some time since I've updated here, huh? It's even a new year now. We get old so fast but you'd never guess how old me and girlfriend are from looking at the pictures. This is us on December 31st.

This is the result. Blurred to spare the victim's identity and so you don't see the dirty stuff on the ground.

Btw, it looks as though there were only Asians from the pictures but this wasn't the case. It's just that they drank more and I was in the drinking area most of the time.

I haven't updated since... [08 Aug 2004|12:28am]
Since I haven't updated here since I can't even remember, I thought it would a good occasion to show what a matsuri is like in Montreal. It feels a lot like a small town festival but it's cute and being with friends under some trees with the scent of food being cooked nearby is really enjoyable. It's also fun meeting new people and seeing so many cute girls.

As usual, I don't have pictures of myself even if the screen flips on my camera. So here's a group picture of the people behind. I should be easy to find (for those who know me anyway, hahaha).

The first pictures show yukata. You could borrow a yukata if you didn't have one. And not many Montrealers own a yukata I believe.

Here is some traditional dancing. Unfortunately, this was the most interesting picture of the dancing and I wasn't able to get pictures of other events.

This was the main attraction for many. FOOD!

And this is just a picture I like. See how that man's ass seems like frozen in it's movement? Not that I like men's asses but I like this effect.

ATSUI!!! I'm not complaining. I'm rather screaming out of joy. Finally, beautiful women in skirts. It's also the time to eat under the sun. But that's if there's some places left.

Little, tiny, micro Update [17 Apr 2004|12:53am]
[ mood | thirsty ]
[ music | Hitomi Shimatani - Viola ]

OMG, Hitomi Shimatani is just so beautiful. I had to come back from the little hiatus just to say this. I feel like a pre-pubescent girl who has just watched the latest video of her favorite boyband. ^_^

Yes, whenever there's a title in "Current Music", it's because the video is playing on the TV next to me.

[ music | Lee Jung-Hyun - Ari Ari ]

So... if it continues like this, Saturday will now be my language learning day. Tomorrow starts with Korean school in the morning followed by helping Kaori with her French during the afternoon and ends with Karaoke to practice my Korean and Japanese (lack of) reading skills. I hope to be fast enough in order to be able to rap in Korean or Japanese soon. Hahaha, that'd be funny. I can't even talk fast enough in French nor English for that.

Konglish [12 Mar 2004|01:43am]
[ mood | worried ]
[ music | Ayumi Hamasaki - Connected (Ferry Corsten Remix) ]

In Korean, as in many other languages, wsome ords are borrowed from elsewhere. When it is borrowed from English, we like to call it Konglish and there is a lot of it. While it makes learning Korean somewhat easier (unless you want to sound North Korean and say stuff like OeReumPoSungI instead of AiSeu KeuRim), words don't always retain their original meaning. I was watching New Nonstop a while back (yeah, I'm too old for this, I know) and this guy got a corndog when I heard him say the word "hot-dog." If "hot-dog" means "corndog" in Korea, then how do I order a hot-dog? mmmm.... American hot-dog chuseyo? ^_^

Anyway, that word is far from the most important Konglish to remember. Here is my top 10 list of useful Konglish.

1- HenDeuPon - Hand Phone (Forget it, I won't bring out the chart to see where each Korean character is on my keyboard) : Cell phone / mobile.

2- PaiTing - Fighting : Very popular in movies and TV. Means the same thing and used the same way as "Ganbate" in Japanese. Hard to translate in English but it's something like "Go for it!", "Keep it up!" or whatever, depending on the situation. In the movie "Foul King", there's a scene with the young people in front of a wall with "Korea! Fighting!" written on it. And guess what they're doing? Fight.

3- BiAGra - Viagra : Because there's no F or V sound in Korean. There's a joke about this in the movie "Please Teach Me English" with the name of Elvis' sister.

4- OToBaiKeu - Motorcycle : Autobike? Not sure.

5- McGuyver Knife : I'm not sure how I'd write this but I've heard it before and it's a Swiss Army Knife. Probably because it was so helpful to McGuyver, from the TV show.

6- Self Camera : Home video. I've never seen it written in hangul, only in English.

7- Ero - Porn : As in the type you watch on TV.

8- EICon - A/C : That thing you must turn on in the car if you're going to an important meeting and don't want to show up with sweat marks.

9- RiMoCon - Remote controller : So you can stay in your chair.

10- PiJa - Pizza : Proof that Konglish isn't that awful. If said very fast, this word sounds just like in English.

There are people who are offended and take Konglish too seriously. They'e all Koreans. Koreans speak Korean, so who cares if they don't get it exactly right. Quebecois (French) uses lots of English words and we couldn't care less if they're true to their origin. An example is "J'ai le flu." In English, "flu" is some viral disease but not in Quebecois. Well, Japanese people are much more relaxed about their use of English and I'll cover it next time. It's called Engrish.

[02 Mar 2004|03:40am]
[ mood | amused ]

I've taken the following from [info]maruk who has also taken it from someone else who has probably taken it from someone who has taken it from someone who has taken from someone who has taken it from a friend who was drunk and talked to this white wizard who told him it is what you do with the time that is given to you that matters most. So he went on a quest to know himself better and enlightment was given to him in the form of online personality tests.

Take the sensation seeking test at:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/mind/index_surveys.shtml
</span>

Thrill and Adventure Seeking

Your Score: 7 out of 10
This consists of items expressing desires to engage in sports or activities involving some physical danger or risk such as mountain climbing, parachute jumping, scuba diving, speeding in a car, etc.

Experience Seeking

Your Score: 7 out of 10
This descibes the desire to seek new experiences through the mind and senses by living in a nonconforming life style with unconventional friends, and through travel.

Disinhibition

Your Score: 6 out of 10
This describes the need to disinhibit behaviour in the social sphere by drinking, partying and seeking variety in sexual partners.

Boredom Susceptibility

Your Score: 2 out of 10
This indicates an aversion for repetitive experience of any kind, routine work, or even dull or predictable people. Other items indicate a restless reaction when things are unchanging.

Your total score: 22 out of 40

[info]

Basically, I answered negative to all questions involving height and positive to ones about sex. There weren't too many questions with driving though.

Pretty Pink Snow [09 Feb 2004|01:23am]

No, my picture is not out of focus. This is what you see if you look in the distance when snow falls. The orange cast on the sky is also normal when snow falls but it can be pink at times. Imagine a bright pink sky at night. No, it's not a Morning Musume video.

Now, about the Olsen twins. Just do a search in Google. ^_^ Instead of annoying some folks about the twins, I'll let you go with more pictures of how things look like after snow falls. But this could be boring for those who have seen this all their life.

Quand la neige tombe, le ciel est rose. Et si j'ai soif, j'ouvre la bouche vers le ciel.

French word of the day: ciel - sky. Hehehe, this is funny somehow.

I was so tired this week. Haven't updated any of my web sites at all. I'll write more after a bowl of cereal.

While I eat, you can look at the following picture. Mary Kate and Ashley dolls. They're so scary. If you don't know who the Olsen twins are, I'll explain in 15 minutes.
